Who we are?

The Parents and Friends Association was created to foster communications, encourage co-operation and promote the interests of the School by providing fundraising support for St Christopher’s Primary School. We are guided by the Sydney Federation of Catholic School Parents Constitution – St Christopher’s Panania and supported by our School Principal, Mrs Michelle Court.

What we do?

St Christopher’s Parents and Friends Association is a committee made up of parent volunteers, who meets regularly to discuss, organise and plan events to benefit St Christopher’s parents, families and the wider community.

Events:

The Parents and Friends Association hosts a number of events throughout the year, including, but not limited to:

– Mother’s Day breakfast, stall & raffle

– Father’s Day breakfast, stall & raffle

– St Christopher’s Open Day

– Mufti Days

– Discos

– 2024 Colour Blast

– Santa Photos

– Teacher Appreciation Day

– Cake stalls

– Sausage sizzles

The Parents and Friends Association is also responsible for a number of support groups which enrich the lives of our students by improving the quality of the school’s educational resources, including:

– STC Second Hand Uniform Shop

– Purchase of new home readers

– Purchase of new shade sail over play equipment

P&F Meeting:

All parents/families of current St Christopher’s students are encouraged to join and become actively involved within the Parents and Friends Association. Meetings are held in the school Library.

Volunteering:

Those who wish to volunteer, when the opportunity arises, are required to have completed the Parent Induction Workshop prior to volunteering. The induction details the WHS and Child Protection requirements of Sydney Catholic Schools and the NSW Department of Education in providing a safe learning environment for the students at St. Christopher’s.

Inductions usually occur during Term 1 of each year.

St Christopher’s Second-Hand Uniform Shop

St Christopher’s Second-Hand Uniform Shop is open every FRIDAY from 8:30am during the Term.

Who we are?

The Second-Hand Uniform Shop is run by volunteers of the St Christopher’s Parents & Friends Association.

What we do?

St Christopher’s Second-Hand Uniform Shop provides the school community the opportunity to purchase good quality second hand uniforms as a means of cost saving and service to our community.

How to donate?

We gratefully accept good condition uniforms and resell to our school community. All proceeds go to the St Christopher’s Parents and Friends Association and in turn will reinvest back into the school! Drop off washed uniforms at the Front Office during school hours or at the Second-Hand Uniform Shop on Friday between 8:30 – 9am.

STC Second Hand Uniform Shop is located on ground level, next to the Diverse Learning Centre.

How to purchase?

You are able to purchase second hand school uniforms by ordering online using the My School Connect app. Alternatively, you can purchase in store at the Second-Hand Uniform Shop – My School Connect app payments only. No eftpos available.

Online App orders:

My School Connect online app orders will be processed twice a week, Tuesday and Friday during the school Term. Orders can be collected in store (Friday only) or can be sent home with your child/ren. If your order cannot be fulfilled due to stock unavailability, we will issue a refund via the original payment method.
