Numeracy Coordinator

Personal message: As an educator and leader, I aspire to create change and foster growth in the learning, faith and wellbeing of every member of the St Christopher’s community. We have an immense responsibility to shape the future through our actions, and we truly can make a positive difference in the lives of those around us. I am passionate about implementing innovative, evidence-based pedagogical practices that create engaging, rigorous and challenging learning experiences for every child at our school.

Statement of areas of responsibility: As a co-ordinator, Tess is responsible for the religious and educational leadership of the school. She is also responsible for the overall direction in order to provide for the effective care and education of the students. This is carried out through facilitation of their spiritual, social, academic and personal development within resource and funding constraints.

A curriculum co-ordinator provides ongoing support and feedback to staff to improve pedagogical practice. 

Professional experience: Tess has worked at St Christopher’s, Panania since the beginning of 2017 as a classroom teacher and in addition a school co-ordinator.

Qualifications: Completing a Masters of Leadership in School Education – Macquarie University.
Bachelor of Education (Primary) – University of Sydney.
